Early Life:
Grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida, with younger sister, Hope, father Don, an aerospace engineer and mother, Nancy, a college professor of art.

College:
Attended Birmingham-Southern College, a Methodist liberal arts college in Birmingham, Alabama 1987—1991. B.S. degree in Accounting. Active in numerous organizations, and served as president of both Theta Chi fraternity and the Interfraternity Council.

Post College:
Spent a year in living in Kosice, Czechoslovakia teaching English at the Technical University of Kosice. Was placed at the University by Education for Democracy, an organization with offices in Mobile, Alabama and Bratislava, Czechoslovakia.

Law School:
Attended University of Alabama School of Law 1992 -- 1995. Finalist in second-year moot court competition, served as a member of the Jessup International Moot Court team during third year. Worked throughout second and third year of law school as a law clerk for Robert P. Reynolds, P. C., a firm practicing in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. Wrote a brief that was argued before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Professional Life:
Mark is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Midtown location. During his career, he has represented a variety of clients in both residential and commercial transactions, including buyers, sellers and lenders, as well as developers and builders. Mark also teaches continuing education classes to real estate agents on a variety of topics, and he currently serves as the Director of the Ganek Wright Minsk University of Real Estate. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association (GRECAA), a member of the First American Title Insurance Company’s President’s Council, and he represents the southeastern states on the Stewart Title Agency Services Board of Advisors.

Early Life:
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, grew up in Opelika, Alabama.

College:
Attended the University of Alabama, where he was treasurer of the student government. He graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

Post College:
Member of Alabama Bar since 1989 Member of Georgia Bar since 2001

Law School:
University of Alabama School of Law, J.D. Graduated 1989

Professional Life:
Michael started law practice as a clerk for the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals in Montgomery, Alabama before becoming a staff attorney. Starting in 1991, he practiced in the area of commercial litigation, first as an associate and then as a partner, with the Birmingham, Alabama law firm of Berkowitz, Lefkovits, Isom & Kushner. He relocated from Birmingham to Atlanta in 2000 and, after being a member of the Georgia Bar started practicing the areas of residential and commercial real estate. He joined Ganek Wright Minsk in 2004.

Hobbies and Interest:
Michael loves college athletics, tennis and travel.

Early Life:
Born in Mobile, Alabama and grew up in Marietta, Georgia.

College:
Mike graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.

Law School:
Georgia State University College of Law, JD 2000.

Professional Life:
Prior to joining Ganek Wright Minsk PC, Mike was a criminal prosecutor in DeKalb County and served as staff attorney for the Georgia Supreme Court's Standing Committee on the Unlicensed Practice of Law. He entered the real estate field in 2005 and worked as an associate in a large firm's residential real estate department. He managed their Midtown office from 2007 to 2010. Mike spoke at the 2006 and 2007 Georgia Title Standards Seminar on Condominiums and Planned Unit Developments and frequently conducts trainings for agents on various aspects of real estate closings and contracts.

Professional Life:
Joined the Georgia Bar in December of 2013.

Prior to law school, Tiffanie was a licensed real estate agent in Georgia focusing on residential new construction developments.

Upon graduating law school, Tiffanie has worked in several areas of law, including residential and commercial real estate, bankruptcy, wills, and probate.

Her current practice is in the areas of residential and commercial real estate.

Personal life:
In her spare time, Tiffanie spends time with friends and travels. She also enjoys the arts, fashion, photography, architecture and design, and outdoor activities - especially softball and running for exercise.

Born in Arlington, TX. Renee has one younger sister, Robin. Father, Jack, was a civil engineer with a masters in economics and mother, Shirley, was a paralegal.

College:
Graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1996 with a B.A. in International Relations and a Minor in History. Studied abroad at the University of Costa Rica in San Jose. Member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Law School:
Graduated from The University of Georgia School of Law in 1999. Studies concentrated in corporate and tax law.

Professional Life:
After a couple of years spent practicing tax law, Renee shifted her focus to real estate law in 2001. She joined Ganek Wright Minsk in early 2013.

Personal Life:
Renee lives in town with her husband and two children.

Practiced three years as an Intern Architect with Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart & Stewart, a commercial architecture firm.

Graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 1993

Professional Life:
Debbie began her practice of law in 1993 in the area of residential real estate, servicing lenders, mortgage brokers, and corporate relocation clients.. In 1999, she branched into practicing in the areas of foreclosures and creditor’s rights. Since 2004, she has focused her practice to servicing corporate relocation clients while working for Ganek Wright Minsk PC and James Sibold & Associates, LLC. Rejoining Ganek Wright Minsk PC in 2010, she manages the Relocation Division.

Home life:
Married to an engineer with one son, two step-children, and an Irish Terrier named Katie. Enjoys quiet evenings with friends, Facebook, and following the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Early Life:
Native Atlantan. I have seen the city change from a small town to a world class city.

College:
Graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1981 with a B.A. in Political Science. Member of ZBT fraternity and active in many campus organizations.

Law School:
Graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1984. Was a member of the Prosecutorial Clinic for two years where I assisted the Clarke County District Attorney in felony and misdemeanor trials.

Professional Life:
Harry joined McCalla Raymer in 1985 and he made partner in 1992. He opened and managed McCalla's most successful office from 1992 to 1997 until he joined Ganek, Wright & Dobkin as an equity partner. His practice is concentrated in the areas of residential real estate and the representation of lenders, builders & developers. Harry is a frequent speaker to real estate companies and mortgage lenders on a multitude of real estate related topics.

Real Life:
Harry lives in Atlanta with his wife, their two children and the family’s 100lb sheepdog (Maggie). Harry is active in many community service organizations, especially his children's school.
Harry enjoys golfing, running, traveling and reading.

Professional Life:
Joined the Georgia Bar in November of 1990.
Between law school and getting LLM worked in Atlanta for Trust Company Bank (now SunTrust Bank) in the Trust Department.
After graduating from Emory worked in Atlanta in areas of corporate law, taxation, and estate planning.
Entered the real estate law field in the "suburbs" in 1993 and have been enjoying this area of practice ever since.
Current practice is in the areas of residential, investment, acreage, and construction closings.

• Member of Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association.

Personal Info:
Married since 1998. Have 3 children (one boy, two girls).
In spare time, I spend as much time as I can with my family. Also enjoy anything to do with history, just about any kind of sporting event on television or in person (just ask my wife) but especially the Tennessee Volunteers, and golf - playing it, watching it, reading about it.

Early Life:
Born in Jackson Mississippi, Gillen moved to Marietta, GA when he was 6.

College:
Graduated from The University of Mississippi in 1995 with a B.A. in English. He was in the University Chorus, the Honors College and on the club soccer team.

Law School:
Graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1999. During law school, Gillen worked for the Athens-Clarke County Legal Aid and studied in London as part of an eight university consortium.

Professional Life:
Gillen began his legal work in the areas of immigration and litigation. He moved to the practice of residential real estate in 2002. He joined Ganek Wright Minsk as an attorney in February of 2015.

Gillen handles residential and commercial closings on behalf of lenders, buyers, sellers, builders, developers and investors. He has assisted agent and lenders with thousands of closings. Gillen continues to enjoy the challenges in the ever-changing field of real estate transactions and title work.

Home life:
Gillen and his wife have three young children. They enjoy spending time together at sporting events and gathering with friends. Gillen continues to be involved with Habitat for Humanity, Camp Fire and Camp Toccoa.

Born in Oklahoma, Mimi spent the majority of her youth in Jacksonville, Florida.

College:
Graduated from the University of North Florida in 1991 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology with honors.

Law School:
Graduated from the Georgia State University College of Law in 1995. During law school Mimi worked at internships at Georgia Indigent Defense Council, Catholic Social Services, Atlanta Legal Aid and the Campaign for Military Service. Mimi was active in the leadership of many Law School extra-curricular groups.

Professional Life:
Mimi started out as a litigator with several small firms, practicing first in family law then employment, education and civil rights law, then transitioned to a transactional real estate practice in 2001. Joined Ganek Wright Minsk as an Associate Partner in October 2004.

Mimi handles residential and commercial closings and builder/developer representation. Helped develop several East Cobb custom home subdivisions, from the acquisition and development loan through construction loans and the ultimate sale to the buyers. Has assisted banks with creating and managing successful asset dispostion title, contract and closing systems for their REO residential and commercial properties. Also delights in helping Realtor clients by keeping them up to date on trends in the market and changs to the GAR contracts and the law.

Home Life:
When not at the firm, Mimi can be found at home with family and dogs, at a concert, an Atlanta Dream basketball game or at dinner with friends. Loves to travel and have adventures, going somewhere new every year.
