Calloway Title and Escrow, LLC is a full service commercial and residential title agency which was founded in 1997 by S. Marcus Calloway, Esquire managing partner. Since he began practicing in 1976, Marcus has concentrated his practice in the area of real estate law with an emphasis on commercial and residential title examinations and related issues. Calloway Title has 7 attorneys on staff, with various Bar Association memberships, allowing Calloway Title to offer its services on a nationwide level. Marcus built Calloway Title’s reputation upon expertise and client satisfaction, and has become a leader in the title industry, serving clients’ title needs in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida directly, as well as nationwide, through our relationships with title insurance companies across the country.
By cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with each of the National Title Companies, Calloway Title gives its clients a choice of national underwriters, providing a wealth of resources to solve unique title issues. Calloway Title participates in transactions ranging from several thousand to several hundred million dollars each year. The strong customer service upon which Calloway Title’s reputation was built remains a top priority on each transaction, regardless of the size. The attorneys and staff at Calloway Title have substantial experience, enabling them to handle complex title issues with speed, expertise and creativity. They take a problem-solving approach to each component of the title insurance process, and work on behalf of their clients to ensure smooth and successful transactions. Calloway Title provides a full spectrum of commercial and residential title, escrow and closing services including:
- Nationwide Title Examinations
- Production of Title Insurance Commitments and Policies, Attorney’s Certificates of Title, Owners and Encumbrance Searches, Endorsements to Existing Title Insurance Policies and Title Update Letters
- Title and Survey Review and Commentary
- Preparation and/or Review of Closing Documents Including Deeds, Affidavits, Authority Documents and Settlement Statements
- Document Recordation Nationwide by Hand Delivery, by Over Night Delivery, and/or by EFS (Electronic Filing System) where available.
- Disbursement of Closing Funds
- Escrow Administration
