Amanda F. Calloway

Amanda F. Calloway entered the field of law quite naturally. Her father, S. Marcus Calloway, was a widely respected attorney in Atlanta for many years and was the Founding Partner at Calloway Title and Escrow. Having grown up in a noted Atlanta real estate law family, Amanda has been voluntarily and involuntarily exposed to many aspects of the real state law process from the courthouse record rooms to the closing table. Amanda joined the firm in 2007 and currently acts as managing partner.

She attended two of Georgia’s top universities, receiving her BA in English from the University of Georgia Honors Program, graduating Cum Laude, and her Juris Doctor from The Emory University School of Law. Amanda became a member of the Georgia Bar Association in 2007 and a member of the South Carolina Bar Association in 2010. She is an active member of CREW Atlanta, and a graduate of the 2014 CREW Atlanta Leadership Program. Amanda serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section for the State Bar of Georgia where she is the current chair. Amanda is a past President of Southeast Land Title Association, and continues to serve on the Membership Committee for the Georgia Land Title Association.

Amanda is an Atlanta native and currently resides in Sandy Springs with her husband, Kevin Mercer

Kyle J. Levstek

Kyle J. Levstek received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Kennesaw State University in 2007. Prior to attending KSU, he attended Missouri Valley College on a football scholarship. Kyle received his Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2011. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2011 and maintains active memberships with the Atlanta Bar Association and the Southeast Land Title Association. Presently, he is the Immediate Past President and Georgia Membership Chairman of the SLTA.He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia.

Kyle started working for Calloway Title in 2000 as a copy room assistant and worked through the roles of legal assistant, title examiner, and senior closer before accomplishing his goal of passing the State Bar of Georgia in 2011 and returning to Calloway Title as an Associate Attorney. He became a member of the Tennessee Bar Association in 2017.

Kyle’s ability to comprehend every aspect of the title insurance business through his firsthand experience has made him a crucial asset to the firm, his co-workers, and his clients.

Kyle and his wife, Crystal, reside in Acworth, Georgia with their children, Cloey and Carter. Kyle and his family are members of West Ridge Church in Dallas, Georgia.

George Calloway

Senior Counsel

George C. Calloway currently serves as Senior Partner at Calloway Title and Escrow.  George has had a lengthy career in the title insurance industry  as a founder of the law firm of Calloway & Calloway, P.C. (AV rated in the Martindale-Hubbell ® Law Directory), and Atlanta Escrow and Exchange Service, Inc., which functions as a qualified intermediary in tax-deferred exchanges.  George received his B.A. from Auburn University and his J.D. from Georgia State University.  He formerly served as Vice President/Senior Title Counsel of Specialized Title Services, Inc., an issuing agent for several national title underwriters and one of Georgia’s larger commercial title insurance agencies.  

With extensive experience in complex title insurance and real property matters, Mr. Calloway’s primary focus is the representation of other commercial real estate attorneys and title underwriters with respect to their title insurance and title examination needs.  A regular speaker on the topics of title and title insurance, he has participated in the continuing education projects of several professional organizations.  These include ICLE’s Real Property Law Institute and the Land Title School of Southeast Land Title Association, Inc.

Chad Henderson

Counsel-Legal Services

Chad Henderson was born in Thomasville, Georgia, and grew up in Orlando, FL. After graduating from Florida State University in 1993, Chad moved to Atlanta to continue his education. He graduated from Emory University’s School of Law in 1997, and also earned his MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School. Currently, he is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida.

His focus is primarily on commercial and residential real estate developments and transactions, land use, zoning, small business consulting and advisement, corporate and partnership formation, and leasing commercial and multi-family residential properties.

In addition to practicing law, Chad has taught dozens of law, business and real estate courses as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. He is also a previous chair of the Georgia State Bar’s Real Property Law Section and has served on numerous community and nonprofit boards.

Kendra Huckabee

CFO

Kendra Huckabee manages the daily operations of Calloway Title and supervises the Financial and Escrow Department.  Kendra received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia in 1995, the same year she joined Calloway Title.  She participates with local philanthropic and professional organizations, including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and CREW Atlanta (Commercial Real Estate Women Atlanta).

Kendra and her husband, Ted, reside in Atlanta, Georgia with their daughters.

Russell Gaines

Counsel-Title services

Russell Gaines is an Associate Attorney at Calloway Title.  Russell is a “Double Dawg” having graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Science in Education in 1999, and receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia in 2002.  After passing the Georgia Bar, he joined Specialized Title in 2002, and subsequently became a part of Calloway Title in 2019.

Russell and His wife, Ladonna, reside in Alpharetta, Georgia with their three daughters.

David Dudley

National Recording Specialist

David Dudley manages all real estate recordings, which includes all documents recorded in conjunction with any real estate transaction, for Calloway Title.  David received his diploma from Clarkston High School and immediately plunged into the world of employment, and in 1997, he joined Calloway Title. His experience in recordation led to his involvement with PRIA (Property Records Industry Association) and GSCCCA (Georgia Superior Court Clerks Cooperative Authority).  David has been honored to speak at numerous association conferences, including the GSCCCA, Southeast Land Title Association, and at the 2017 Institute of Continuing Legal Education Conference.

David and his partner, Christy Cheek, reside in Buford, Georgia.

Trey Howell

Associate Attorney

Trey Howell serves as an Associate Attorney and is admitted to practice in Georgia and Florida. After graduating Cum Laude from Auburn with a degree in history, he was a summer intern with Calloway Title in 2014. Trey continued to work during university breaks at Calloway Title, until his graduation Cum Laude from the Florida State University College of Law. He joined the firm as an associate attorney full time in 2016.

Trey and his wife, Haley, reside in Freehome, Georgia.

Jason Prats

Senior Transaction Specialist

Jason Prats works as a Senior Transaction Specialist at Calloway Title and has done so since 2013.  Jason received his Associates degree in Christian Ministries and his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014.  His employment at Calloway Title began in 1999 where he worked as a copy room assistant and a courier before transitioning to the role of legal assistant.

Jason and his wife, Audra, reside in Buford, Georgia with their two children.

Chris Byers

Transaction Specialist

Chris Byers serves as a Transaction Specialist at Calloway Title.  Chris received his Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Georgia in 2007. He joined Calloway Title in 2006 as a temporary employee but quickly became a permanent Calloway Title member due to his commitment to excellence and attention to detail. 

Chris lives in Buford, Georgia with his wife, Sarah, and their three children.

Justin Allen

Paralegal

Justin Allen serves as a Paralegal at Calloway Title.  Justin received his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia in 2008 and his Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Athens Technical College in 2011.

Justin lives in Flowery Branch, Georgia.

Elyssa Levere

Associate Attorney

Elyssa Levere works as Associate Counsel at Calloway Title.  Elyssa graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Augusta College (now Augusta University) in 1981.  She worked at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia before attending John Marshall Law School and graduating with her Juris Doctor in 1988.  She became a member of the State Bar of Georgia that same year. In addition to her State Bar of Georgia membership, she is also a member of the Southeast Land Title Association.

Elyssa resides in Marietta, Georgia with her two dogs.

Catherine Lindley

Associate Attorney

Catherine Lindley joined Calloway Title in 2014 as an Associate Attorney when she became a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Catherine coordinates with our contacts nationwide to ensure our clients needs are covered across the country. Catherine received her Bachelor of Arts in 2011 from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. In 2014, she earned her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

Catherine and her husband, Patrick, reside in Lexington, Kentucky with their daughter.

Jason Fulton

Senior Commercial Title Reviewer

Jason Fulton serves as Senior Commercial Title Reviewer at Calloway Title.  Jason attended the University of South Carolina at Aiken where he majored in English.  He joined Calloway Title in 2015.

Jason and his wife, Cheryl, live in East Cobb with their three daughters.

Derrik Shukis

Commercial Title Reviewer

Derrik Shukis serves as a Commercial Title Reviewer at Calloway Title.  Derrik graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2006.  After running oil and gas titles in West Virginia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, he joined Calloway Title in 2015. 

Derrik enjoys photography and resides in Cumming, Georgia.

Matt Fontana

Legal Assistant

Matt Fontana is a Legal Assistant here at Calloway Title.  Matt followed his uncle Jason Prats and his mother Tammy Fontana by joining Calloway Title in 2012.

Matt enjoys traveling and resides in Brookhaven, Georgia.

Freddy Tumlin

Legal Assistant

Freddy Tumlin serves as a Legal Assistant at Calloway Title.  Freddy became a member of the Calloway Title staff in 2012, and has risen through the ranks of the firm due to his dedication to his work and devotion to excellence.  His loyalty to his craft is appreciated by all who work with him, coworkers and clients alike.

Freddy and his wife live in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Emily Ericson

Escrow Officer

Emily Ericson is an Escrow Officer at Calloway Title.  Emily graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2005.  She oversees the multitude of escrow accounts operated by Calloway Title and has done so since she joined the firm in 2003.

Emily lives in Cumming, Georgia.

Valerie Copeland

Senior Closing Coordinator

Valerie Copeland is a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal/Senior Closing Coordinator here at Calloway Title.  Valerie graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Elizabeth City State University and received her paralegal certification with a specialization in Real Estate Law from Professional Career Development Institute.  She joined Calloway Title in 2016 after a working nearly a decade with Primary Capital and Jones Lang Lasalle. 

Valerie and her husband, David, reside in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Tammy Fontana

Accounting

Tammy Fontana serves in the Accounting Department here at Calloway Title.  Tammy joined the firm in 2007 and has been a consistent contributor in many departments before focusing her many talents in the accounting department.

Tammy lives in Buford, Georgia.

Tina Nguyen

Accounting

Tina Nguyen is in the accounting department at Calloway Title.  Tina joined Specialized Title in 2013 and subsequently became a part of Calloway Title in 2019.

Joy Copeland

Associate Counsel

Joy Copeland works at Calloway Title as a Forensic Title Specialist and Associate Counsel.  Joy obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and received her Juris Doctor from Georgia State College of Law.  She joined Calloway Title in 2005.  Her thirty-five years of commercial title experience have shaped Joy’s motto, “Any Title, Any Courthouse, Any Time.”

Joy resides with her family in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

Christy Cheek

Associate counsel

Christy Cheek currently serves as a Forensic Title Specialist and Associate Counsel at Calloway Title and does so since she joined the firm in 1991.Christy received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Georgia in 1986 and obtained her Juris Doctor from University of Georgia School of Law in 1989. She became a member of the State Bar of Georgia shortly thereafter.

Christy, her partner, David Dudley, and her daughter reside in Buford, Georgia. 

 

Gina Whitmire

Operations Coordinator

Gina Whitmire is the Operations Coordinator at Calloway Title.  After more than fifteen years with several prominent Atlanta law firms, Gina joined Calloway Title in 2011.  She handles electronic document processes and oversees Calloway’s SQL server which houses the firm’s proprietary database.

Gina lives in Virginia Highlands and loves woodworking and glass art.

Chris White

IT Director

Chris White joined Calloway Title and Escrow, LLC in 2021 as IT Director of the Firm’s Technology Department, using his considerable skills to manage IT issues of various degrees of difficulty within the world of Calloway’s proprietary software. He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Information Systems from Fort Valley State University and earned his MBA in Business Management from American Intercontinental University in 2008. He played football while in college and managed the school’s technology newspaper.

Chris currently lives in Fairburn, Georgia, with his wife, Angela, and his two children. He is an avid Las Vegas Raiders and Atlanta Braves fan, and enjoys anything to do with technology, BBQ, and community service.”

Charles Gioino

Associate counsel

Charles Gioino serves as an Associate Attorney at Calloway Title.  Charles graduated from Rutgers College and received a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law.  Charlie was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1998. He joined Specialized Title in 2005 and then came to Calloway Title in 2019.

Charlie and his wife, Sara, have four daughters and reside in Suwannee, Georgia.

Tina Park

Associate counsel

Tina Park serves as Associate Counsel at Calloway Title.  Tina graduated from the University on Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and obtained her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 1989.  She joined Specialized Title in 2003 and became a member of the Calloway Title team in 2019.

Tina and her partner, Marlene, live in Decatur, Georgia.

Richard E. Scanlan

Associate counsel

Richard E. Scanlan currently serves as a Forensic Title Specialist and Associate Counsel at Calloway Title and has done so since joining the firm in 2020. Rick received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University in 1979 and obtained his Juris Doctor from Woodrow WIlson College of Law in 1983. He became a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 1983 as well.

Rick lives with his wife Deveny in Sugar Hill, Georgia and have raised three wonderful children and have three grandchildren as well.
